Don't follow rules.

    Creativity is similar to muscles...

   One must work on their creativity over time in order to build it up! So, in honor of that theory here is the first weekly creative exercise that i performed in hopes of broadening my spectrum.

   Using stencils can be confusing, and stressful. The real test is when you receive some stencils to paint a table with but they are all different and need to be aligned correctly to make the right pattern. Yes we are using paint, stencils, brushes, etc, but are we being creative? Not really, we are just following a different person's pattern.  

   So, in order to be more creative i decided to try my best to mix up the pieces, but still manage to form a cohesive and pleasing pattern. This took me three hours to even figure out before starting to paint, but it was fun and taught me a lot. I guess what I am saying is: don't follow rules.
