Make a business card...

    Business cards are important...

When I first started Isopodia, I got away with not having business cards for around two years. This was before I started subjecting myself to other humans by vending reptile shows. I got asked so many times if I had business cards and nine times out of ten it was by people who did not purchase anything at the show. I cannot help but ask myself how many of those people would have bought from me at a later time outside of that reptile show if I would have been able to give them a way to contact me. A physical piece of contact information and general information concerning my company. Would they have bought from me?

The answer is: probably, yes and I think it is because maybe they just did not have the funds after shopping around for other things at the show. Maybe they were interested after hearing our "spiel," but they did not trust themselves enough to jump right into the hobby without spending a couple days, weeks, or even months worth of research first. The bottom line is: you can only get away with not having a simple way for people to contact you for so long if you are trying to build a following/collect clientele. Make a business card...

Business cards have some basic elements: the name of your company, a good theme/design that correlates with your company's personality, your contact information, and some brief information that gives them an idea of the purpose of your company. I designed this business card in Adobe Photoshop in order to have an extremely simple way to build my clientele. It has all of them elements listed above along with our official logo that I designed in Adobe Illustrator. The "pods, pedes, and piders" would have been a little bit confusing if I had not included my logo, there is a reason for everything.
