Making a tiny house for a spider???

    Yes, you read that title correctly...I made a tiny house for my spider.

   Charley is a peach regal jumping spider and if you know anything about jumping spiders then you know that the females nest before breeding age even hits them. Jumping spiders take their living spaces very seriously and truly appreciate little hidey spots! 

   I figured what better little hidey spot than making her a tiny little house in the upper left hand corner of her enclosure?! I went to hobby lobby and got a tiny ladder, some tiny rugs, tiny curtains, and some tiny house paneling. I cut the paneling into four squares and glued them together to make a little house! I cut out little windows and used the curtains for them and I put a little rug in her house for her to rest on.

   Yeah, she loves it.
