"Buckle up for life"

    A team of students at USF including myself are working on a campaign for FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) that focuses on trying to connect to a younger audience in regards to using their seatbelts.

   The younger generations have been severely desensitized to important topics due to social media and television, so it is very difficult to get them to take things seriously and understand the severity of topics. The team and I contemplated over and over again what kind of serious message we could make that would actually sink in and honestly, we just couldn't think of one that would properly hit home and push past their desensitivity. 

   To solve this issue we chose to do a 180 and make our campaign fun, energetic, and relatable! One of the most important parts was tying to grow a stronger bond between FDOT and the younger generations while getting this important message across, so the logo had to match our intentions!
